Kerry Washington for Uptown Magazine Dec./Jan. 2013

Kerry Washington is stunning and hot on the Dec./Jan 2013 cover of Uptown Magazine in a black vintage lace top. The 'Scandal' star's new movie, 'Django Unchained', LA premiere was cancelled but the movie is set to hit theaters this month.

In the issue out on newsstand, KW talks about her new movie, leaving the entertainment industry, growing up and more. Continue below to read some excerpts from her interview and to see more images.

Theyskens’ Theory top; Elizabeth and James pants and suspenders; Jennifer Fisher cuff and ring; Alexis Bittar cuff; Finn necklace and gold knot rings.

On her 'Scandal' character 'Olivia Pope':
“Olivia Pope is so much more powerful and sophisticated than I am, and she has more access! Usually I go into my actor’s toolbox and say, Okay, I need this tool and this tool and this tool, pretending to grab some hardware. Everything else I’ll put away and go to work. With Olivia, every day I have both toolboxes! Every tool. She requires all of me: my brain, my body, my heart, all of it.”

On what drew her to the role in 'Django Unchained':
“I’ve never seen slavery dealt with this way before in film. So often it’s a white character who’s the savior of black people.”

Beyonce for GQ February 2013 (Full Spread)

After it got leaked on yesterday, GQ official released their February 2013 cover starring Beyonce and she looked amazing. On the cover, shot by Terry Richardson, Baddie Bey is wearing a cropped NIKE top and red and black AGENT PROVOCATEUR leopard panties, LORRIANE SCHWARTZ earrings and bracelet while posing seductively.

This is GQ '100 Sexiest Women of the 21st Century' cover and who best to lead the pack other than Beyonce. She looked amazing and I am sure gym memberships are going to increase because of this.

In the issue she talks about how hard she works, being on stage, who she collaborated with on her new ablum, inspirations and more. I don't know about you but I can't wait for the album, her upcoming performances and tour.

Stay tuned because the issue will be released on January 15th. Continue below to read some cxcerpts from her interview and see rest of the spread. For more details go to GQ. What do you think of Beyonce's cover?

Shirt by Gucci. Panties by Agent Provocateur. Socks by American Apparel. Glasses by Moscot. Top bracelet by Louis Vuitton. Bottom bracelets and center ring (on hand in air) by Eddie Borgo. Wide band ring by Jennifer Fisher.

On her collaborators on her new album:
"I've been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream. We all started in the '90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us."
On how hard she worked:
"I worked so hard during my childhood to meet this goal: By the time I was 30 years old, I could do what I want. I've reached that. I feel very fortunate to be in that position. But I've sacrificed a lot of things, and I've worked harder than probably anyone I know, at least in the music industry. So I just have to remind myself that I deserve it."

On songwriting:
"I used to start with lyrics and then I'd find tracks—often it was something I had in my head, and it just so happened to go with the melody. Now I write with other writers. It starts with the title or the concept of what I'm trying to say, and then I'll go into the booth and sing my idea. Then we work together to layer on."
